Privacy Policy

This policy explains one thing only: to arrange an event properly, what information of yours we hold, how we use it, who receives it, and how you can ask us to stop at any time.

LAST UPDATED 2 November 2026

What We Collect

We collect only what is needed to arrange an event. When you submit an application, book a visit or enquire about partnership on this website, we record:

· Salutation (Mr / Ms)

· Contact (mobile number or email address — one is enough)

· Referrer or partner organisation (optional; "none" is acceptable)

· Any city, project type or family details you choose to write in your enquiry

We do not collect identity card numbers, passport numbers, bank card numbers, precise location or other sensitive data unrelated to this service. If you volunteer such information in conversation with an advisor, it is used for that conversation only and is not written into the website database.

Why We Collect It, and How We Use It

There are exactly three purposes:

(1) Arranging seats and sessions — confirming attendance and sending confirmation and entry details;

(2) Contacting you — a membership advisor replying to your enquiry, explaining membership, tour schedules or partnership options;

(3) Informing you of later events — telling you the time and place of similar events by phone, SMS or email, according to your wishes. You may ask us to stop at any time.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling or advertising.

Who We Share It With

To run an event, the following parties may see the minimum necessary information:

· Venue and hotel — attendance list only (salutation and contact), used to verify entry and allocate seats;

· Developers or service providers you explicitly ask to meet — your contact details are passed on only with your consent, and they contact you directly;

· Technical operations — the hosting providers for our website and email systems, which process data on our instructions and for no other purpose.

Beyond the above and as required by law, we do not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

How Long We Keep It

After an event, the attendance list and our correspondence are kept for twenty-four months, to handle follow-up enquiries and invitations to similar events, and are then deleted or anonymised.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within seven working days of verifying your identity, except where retention is required by law.

Where It Is Stored

Website and service data are stored on servers located in mainland China. We do not transfer your personal information overseas in the course of providing the Services.

Where an overseas tour requires a guest list to be given to a hotel or host abroad, we will tell you separately and obtain your consent before departure.

Your Rights

You may ask at any time to access the information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete some or all of it, withdraw consent you previously gave, or stop receiving event notices.

Write to info@cornerstone-life.com, stating your request and how we can verify your identity. We will respond within seven working days. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Cookies and Analytics

The website uses essential cookies to remember your language choice and page state. We do not use advertising cookies and do not embed third-party ad networks.

We use site analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand which pages are read and which channels visitors arrive from. Results are aggregated and are not used to identify individuals. You can disable cookies in your browser; the main functions of the site will still work.

Minors

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. Summer camp programmes are registered by a parent or guardian, and the information is handled under this policy.

Updates to This Policy

Any revision is published on this page with a new date at the top. Where a change materially affects what we collect or with whom we share it, we will give separate notice on the website or by email.
